Three Year Specialisation Program
Portfolio Development and Presentation
A portfolio is the compilation which showcases the work carried out by the student/designer. Students will learn about the various types of portfolios which can be made and how to best present their work to prospective clients or employers.
Transformable Systems and spaces
The living spaces in all cities across the world are getting reduced because of urbanisation and high property prices. People have to find multiple uses of the same spaces and furniture pieces to fulfil their living requirements. This subject exposes students to techniques and systems which can transform spaces but do not compromise on comfort or aesthetics. Companies around the world are designing furniture that disappear into walls, can be stowed via remote control, or are even stored on the ceiling. Kid’s furniture is another big aspect that will be covered.
Applications of Vastu and Feng Shui
Now-a-days the traditional methods of spatial planning have seen a revival in the general public, so it is important for an interior designer to have a good understanding of these methods and their application. This subject gives an overview of the principles of VastuShastra and Feng Shui.
Future of Bathrooms and Kitchens
Bathrooms and Kitchens have changed over time and have become as important as bedrooms and other living areas of homes. This subject will enable students to broaden their perspectives and design the kitchens and bathrooms more lavishly and for a variety of interiors.
